Let's see how many members here take advantage of early voting. This is the wife's first time voting, and we mailed off both our ballots today.

You can always change you answers to the poll at any time, so if you haven't voted yet, you can indicate that, and change your answer later, if you do indeed vote in this election.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

No, and don't plan to- in future, I probably will do early voting at our county clerk's office but this is the first time (other than the primary) that I can vote, so I want to make it a bit of an occasion and get my "I voted" sticker and stuff.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

Debated going to early voting but decided not to. There are other candidates running in addition to the Presidential election and I wanted to do some more research on all of the races to make sure I have a clear picture of who I am voting for in every race. There are still some judicial candidates I need to research so will be finishing that up this week in time to vote on election day. This will be my first Presidential election too, but I've voted in the mid-terms and the primaries.
