Received NOA1 but my Receipt Number is Invalid

I received my NOA1 and was trying to check my status. My receipt number which starts with EAC########## is invalid. Has anybody ever experienced this before?

Weird. Did you try it multiple times? You may need to jsut call into USCIS to let them know you're having these issues. Maybe you have the wrong number. Maybe they just didn't update the system.

I am having that issue as well. I received my certificate last week and it is still not showing as valid on the website. Hopefully, they're too busy processing their backlog of I-129Fs to update, but I'm still going to call them tomorrow.

The online update system is unreliable, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It's a very common problem. If you received your NOA1, don't worry, the USCIS have your case.

Same thing happened to me, I waiting 30 min on hold & they told me i was too anxious to give it more days. They recieved my petition the 17th & my case number is still invalid -.-

Same happen to me! =( NOA1 dated 10/18/2012 and is still invalid. =(

Tomorrow I'm going to call.

You're typing in the "EAC" part too right?
