Well if she has applied as a refugee then she is will within the law to have her baby here. Just because you don't like it doesn't make her a criminal. You can't tell me if you were in her shoes living in Syria that you wouldn't do the same thing. It is horrible there and where is the compassion?

from what I am reading this lady came here legally. The slaughter in Syria is outrageous. Every day there are photos of children murdered in the streets. Entire cities wiped out. Who wouldn't dream of

She then claimed TPS.

Which makes it very very difficult for anybody from a country such as Syria to obtain a Visitor Visa.

Perhaps, but when a country gets TPS designation, it gets pretty hard for any of its citizens to get US visas, whether or not people are claiming TPS status from that country. Not to mention when country conditions warrant TPS, very few people there are in a position to seek a US visa. The US Embassy in Syria has been closed due to the unrest since February, and I doubt there are many Syrians trying to come to the US as tourists right now - pretty sure they have bigger problems to worry about.

Long story short, we have a complicated case. We've been at this for nearly 5 years. You can read our story here. I highly recommend our attorney Laurel Scott, as well as attorneys Laura Fernandez and Lizz Cannon .

Filed I-130 via CSC in Feb 2008. Petition approved June 2008. Consular interview in Mexico, Oct 2008, visa denied, INA 212a6cii. We allege improper application of the law in this case.

2012, started over in Seoul: I-130 filed DCF on 7/2, I-130 approved 8/8, Medical at Yonsei Severance 11/20, IR1 appointment in November 2012.

[*] 15 May 2013 - Moved from MN to LA; [*] 17 May 2013 - Applied for a new SS card/filed an AR-11 online (unsuccessfully), therefore called and spoke to a Tier 2 and changed the address; [*] 22 May 2013 - Address updated on My Case Status (finally can see the case numbers online); [*] 28 May 2013 - Letter received in the mail confirming the change of address; [*] 31 July 2013 - Went to Romania; [*] 12 September 2013 - returned to the US using the AP, POE Houston, everything went smoothly; [*] 20 September 2013 - Spoke to a Tier2 and put in a service request; [*] 23 September 2013 - Got "Possible Interview Waiver" letter (originally sent on August, 29th to my old address, returned and re-routed to my current address); [*] 1 October 2013 - Started a new job.
