Im not complaining or anything but everyday I really check the Immigration timeline here in VJ and notice that lately there has not much approved petitions coming from CSC... I notice that for most July filers it takes more or less 80 days to get approved compared to June filers who got approved more or less within 70 days... Before, i see someone or several people get approve everyday but now it takes days for new approvals...

What you guys think is happening?

I noticed this as well, although it has started picking up today. I wondered if maybe since Vermont is so far behind, maybe California is sharing some of the work load. I'm not sure. I hope that California is sharing with Vermont, even though I want my hubby over here as much as anyone I feel awful for people who are having to wait nearly a year.

What you guys think is happening?

I think you are checking timelines too much.

Instead, just sit back, relax, and allow your visa journey to unfold before you as it will.

Perhaps taking up yoga would help.

I've been checking timelines too these past few weeks and have been so excited seeing CSC's fast approvals! lately it has gotten slower. no one could tell and question why. Tahoma is right, we need some yoga. I hear VSC people's disappointments, we're all celebrating for the CSCs fast approvals while them are in pain waiting for theirs. it's easier said than done, but we've got nothing else to do but to stay calm, wait and pray. it will come! God bless everyone in this journey!

Please your good sense of humor. This process will make one question their own sanity. Seems both service centers took a break turn the lights off and didn't tell anyone. Praying for you that it won;t be february well at least be at POE by than.

Like Tahoma said, don't look into the stats too much. You will end up frustrated. Just keep doing what you are currently doing. Next thing you know the NOA2 is in the mail. If you want to do something, plan for the next steps of the process (I-134s, evidence of genuine relationship, etc.) or plan for the wedding, so you are not scrambling too much as soon as the NOA2 arrives...

At the beginning of this year VSC was approving in just over 3 months and CSC took about 5. They've both changed. Both will change again, every few months. Adjudicators will be moved from one type of visa to another. Things will slow down and speed up, seemingly at random. I'm CSC so I'm hoping for under 90 days. However I'm planning for 5 months, and anticipating that it could be longer to get my NOA2. Just because you are in CSC and they are currently going faster, don't count your chickens. They could pull all or most adjudicators off of K-1s for awhile to focus on other visas and it could get difficult if you are too much focused on getting your NOA2 in 70-80 days. 6 months ago K-1 NOA2s from CSC were taking about 150 days...

As I said, I'm hoping for a short process, but I am planning on 5 months. It could certainly be more. And if an RFE comes I'll have to take it in stride.

Worrying won't speed up the process. You can either have it takes the time it takes and stress, or have it take the time it takes and focus on other things. My fiancee is still working and I'm focusing on other hobbies and goals so we keep our mind distracted from the process. It doesn't make it easier, but at least we are doing something beneficial while we wait.

Good luck!

Today is our day 81 and still waiting... And there are a lot of early july files still waiting too... so, they arent approving july filers with 80 days. We really hoped to be approved around day 70 as June filers. So, we stopped to think about it or it would make us crazy! Just think that in few months you'll be living together and you will forget these endless days (I hope).
