Hi you guys, we're new to the site... and I love to see all the support here. My fiance and I filed in september and got transfered to VSC... so of course reading all this I'm freaking out! :o It's like it will take a lifetime to see my fiance again :(. But I'll try to stay positive. I'm enjoying reading this thread so far and pretty much all the advice on this site. So if you guys could give this newbie a couple tips to not go psycho while waiting :crying: (considering the whole process just started for us), it would much appreciated! :help:

Hello Everyone!!! So happy to see so many have come to play with us in our sandbox of waiting!!

I don't know if any of you remember Madlibs? The game where you put in random words and then the end result story comes out totally hilarious!? I found a website for it....so I thought if we wanted to, some people could fill them out (be a funny/dirty/silly as you want) and then post your result. I think it might be a tad better than play8ing games on FB hahaha. Who knows?

I might be on and off over the next 16 days as my love is here with me (yay!). It's been 4 months...so we have a LOT of catching up to do!! :)

So....for fun....let's all try to share the CRAZIEST or most creative thing they've done on skype to pass the time. Naturally, I know where most of your minds have just gone... but try to keep it KINDA clean if you can LOL

Wishing you all a day FULL of funny distractions to keep your mind off of the wait!

All of our best, Denise & Andrew xx

Haha that is awesome!! Love it! We have "dates" ...that is about as crazy that we get...where we kinda pretend like we are out together...each having food and drinks. We also do strip movie trivia 'what year what ______ filmed in?'...that kind of thing LOL :)

I like the dressing up idea...really cute!!

Hello everyone,

I hope you don't mind me gatecrashing your July filers thread, we filed towards the beginning of August to Vermont, so only a little behind you guys.

Been reading, watching and waiting, tapping fingers and twiddling thumbs wishing that there something we could do to speed Vermont up!

I wonder if any of you know whether as Vermont are soooo behind do they ever send Petitions off to any of the Services Centres to get processed?

That is adorable!!! I love hearing about the other cute things people do to make it "feel" like they are with their loved one!

From everything I have read, the centers swing back and forth ...apparently last year this time California was behind and VSC was flying...so let's hope the pendulum swings back the other way or at least evens out!!! In the meantime, feel free to hang out here!

Things aren't going great. He's depressed and letting himself go. We don't skype anymore and when we do his face is like this :| and he doesn't really chat much, which makes any convi difficult. He doesn't really chat when we just msn. I'm having doubts we'll make the further 4/5 months i'm estimating it will take. I'm going out to see him next month but Idk if it's gonna be the last.

Hi!

This is a tough process to go through. Denise and I find it difficult being apart. We make the most of our daily whatsapp, msn and skype. The visits to the US means we get to spend that quality time together.

We are hoping that your visit together goes well and that things improve afterwards!!

Andrew and Denise :)
