Also, as she is Canadian and we crossed the border by car, she has no visa or stamp in her passport. Is there a way to go around this?

Yes. You just indicate "NONE Canada Visitor" when asked about evidence of inspection upon entry.

I think I stated quite clearly in my own post that intent cannot be the sole basis for a denial.

The AoS process is intended for a change in circumstances. There seems to be no change in circumstances here, other than "wanting it to go quicker" which I'm sure everyone wants.

Condescending posts aside, I understand how the law works re: intent with regards to adjustments and B-2 adjustments in particular. The OP is certainly free to file for AoS and let the chips fall where they may.

They gave us a lot of problems at the border each time but so far she hasn't been turned back.

That alone indicates that there may be a record where she stated that she is just visiting and would not want to adjust status. It could be seen as "change of mind" or "material misrepresentation." Sometimes, cherry green is indeed red.

The other posts notwithstanding, I wouldn't attempt to do AoS after you played by the rules and have paid for everything already. AoS will cost another $1,070 and if they don't like your wife's change of mind, it will cost her the American Dream.

Again, it doesn't matter how things seem to you. Adjustment of Status is intended for people who are in the USA and eligible to adjust. No change in circumstances is needed to be eligible.
