Did your husband expedite the documents to you? My wife made that mistake early in our relationship and it took 4 weeks to get a document...since the express mail have gotten everything between the two of us in 5 days or less.

Express from Nigeria I don't think they know the difintion of the word. It is to take they said no more than 12 days. If my husband went there the 28th and they said they mailed it late (personally I believe they hadn't mailed it until he popped in) that would make it counting business days the 16th would be the 12th business day. So we'll see still have today through friday. It's coming to my work.

This is what happens people when you try and save a buck (didn't do FEDEX like I instructed) and freelance. ughhh so tired of all this for real. And to think I will still have to go through the calls of IV BILL accepted, Case Complete than interview. I just want case complete by month end please.

I wonder if they'll start scheduling the week of the 5th or the 12th.

A few days ago I sent our DS-230 package to NVC, I checked everything very carefully so I think it should go through with no problems. That means we're expecting a case complete by the end of October and hopefully a December interview date in Guayaquil, but it could be January at this point.

Does anyone know if the holidays impact embassies' progress on immigrant visa interviews? I'm wondering, for example, if they schedule interviews during the week right before Christmas and during the week between Christmas and New Years.
