If they've already received your case (somehow before your approval, lol), then you might want to start calling once a day already.

Do you have the two packages ready to go yet?

Will do. Thanx Saylin. I sure do. They've been sitting around for a month now just waiting for those payments to be made and the barcoded cover sheets to be inserted

Congras!!! We're still waiting for that...we called them this morning our time, they said it'll take up to 4 weeks for the visa application to be processed in the system. I know it's just a deterrent to keep people from calling. At least, we haven't gotten any checklist for our IV package, so it could be good news!?

08/22/2012 - NOA2 Received (259 Days! We are not proud of that at all - We did a terrible job when we filed I-130, we even hand wrote the forms)

NVC - We're kicking butt here so far, thanks to this great community:

Glad you got the packages ready good.gif I suggest reviewing the two packages each day, to see if you can catch any errors. Also, if possible, have someone not related to the case (ie, not you or your spouse) review the packages to see if you've filled everything out.

I suppose technically there's no need for me to post here, but I just can't quit this wonderful community.

I hope I get my passport back from the embassy soon. Can't wait to see what the visa looks like. B-)

The visa is pretty nifty. The green card though blows the visa out of the water with all the little cool things about it.

When I first got my green card, I spent like 20 minutes just looking at all the details (security and otherwise) on it. For example: on the back, there's two lines of pictures of all the presidents and state flags (albeit very teeny tiny pictures).

I can totally see myself doing that.

Wow! The interviewing officer at the Stockholm embassy didn't even so much as bother to ask if I'd brought proof of a bona fide relationship. You've got a point though; Nigeria is probably a whole different ball park than Sweden.

So Mr.Borstrom how does it feel being on this thread as an observer and contributer on the otherside? Now you have to be the cheerleader.

You know what? Honestly, it feels a little weird. I'm OK with the pom-poms, but the slim fit uniform and the skirt just isn't my thing. The skirt makes my butt look big.
