It will be two weeks tomorrow since my husband emailed the D3-3032. Does that seem long to you? I also sent the original in the mail with a note that it was emailed on September 27th. I already sent in my I-864 package and I am waiting to hear about that also. I check the payment portal nearly every day to see if I can pay the IV bill yet.

I am the USC and living in Norway has been a real challenge for me. My kids' principal has this vendetta against us and has sent us to barnevern (the Norwegian version of Child Protective Services) three times! All bogus stuff like the kids are dirty, their clothes don't fit, they don't concentrate and blah, blah, blah. Anyone who actually know us, know that this is a bunch of baloney! We are still trying to get through case number three. I may have to take my kids and go if it gets any worse. The stress is really getting to me.

If a particular embassy were booked for the month of November NVC would say so, right??

Because we STILL don't have an interview date, whereas everyone else (but Vietnam) does. And everytime I call NVC they say the same thing: "we're still scheduling for November. We're still scheduling." Last week it was "we're waiting on El Salvador" and this week it's "We schedule all embassies at the same time. We're still scheduling."

You get a different response with every person that picks up the phone. I have gotten both those responses and no interview date although you are a week or so ahead of me.

If you sent a physical copy, they can tell you if it was received. For me it they said it was received when I asked over the phone but not processed. At leastthen I knew it was being worked on.

Darnell! :D

I don't think I really properly thanked everyone for all their help during those dark days. So thank you again. :)

OMG - you've come up for air. How's it going? Pond Jump OK ? House settlement/cleaning/re-arranging/revamping ok ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Saylin, I have a question

I sent my documents Last week and called today

the worker told me that it takes a month before my documents (230) are scanned and accepted or a ( I won't use that word) is issued

Should I keep calling everyday or every other day. How long have the people been saying it takes them?

Is this bad?

The worker said there were no case updates, but quickly said this

most computer systems take a second to "pull" the info. but she was very quick to say, call back next month and tells nothing was updated in our case

does all this sound correct

It has been taking an average of 6 business days for them to receive and process the paperwork.

for montreal, we are completing the DS-260 online. Is it still true that we need to take the DS-230 to the interview?

No, it's no longer necessary. Montreal finally got their sh!t together and are now used to the DS-260s. I'd still suggest bringing a completed DS-230 with you though, just in case.

Yeah, don't listen to that operator. Just keep calling once a day. You should hear any day yes.gif

When I called yesterday, I was told that London was already booked for November and to call back the second week of November to see if we made it for December. I think it really depends on who you get on the phone.

When I called yesterday, I was told that London was already booked for November and to call back the second week of November to see if we made it for December. I think it really depends on who you get on the phone.

So it went like this: "Hi, do I have an interview date?"

NVC: "Nope. London is booked for Nov. Call back next month."
