Feeling sad

Today makes it 24 years since my granddad died... he was such an amazing man... I loved him dearly. To add to that sense of sadness is the news that I just got... my dad's younger brother... my uncle Sudarshan is here in New Delhi (he lives in Calcutta) and is in hospital... he has some kind of growth in the region of the brain... some years ago the same thing had happened and it was removed successfully - though they said it was cancerous... am in tears right now.

Its the anniversay of my dad's death next month (it'll be 2 years now) so I know how you are feeling hon..but don't spend all day being sad - your grandad wouldn't have wanted that - remember him with love and the happiness he brung into your life

I hope your uncle pulls thru btw - sounds promising.

Im so sorry to hear you pain, my dad's anniversay of death 2 years ago is in two months as well, and it just seems to get harder each year instead of easier....my grandfather passed away the same year, and now my grandmother just pasted away in november of last year, so I definitely feel you pain. death is a hard thing to deal with especially when you are very close to the people you lose, you are in my thoughts and prayers

Hugs to you Melo,

I know I lost both my parents in late teens and early years and it has been long time but the anniversary is always hard. Take and remember the good times and hopefully your sadness will ease later. I always pray and will add your uncle to my list for a special request. Take care of yourself and know that you have lots of support on VJ.
