I mow our whole lawn too.

I used to have a lawn, but I got tired of watering and cutting it, so it died. It was hard to get grass to grow with all the shade and foot traffic. And the rodents kept digging tunnels under it all winter. I will probably gravel it all over eventually.

You people and your lawns. Most of us up here have just enough tree's/land cleared to put our houses up and leave the rest of the property as is. That way your sourrounded by tree's and you have some privacy as you can't see your neighbors and they can't see you. Makes taking a wiz off the back porch nice and private.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

we are renting this house with a big yard.. it takes me a good 45 minutes to mow it. we have learned that when we eventually buy a house we don't want one with a lot of grass to mow :P

For the first time since moving to California I have a lawn. I'm (or should I say he) is not bothered about mowing it, but the water bill is another thing altogether since it hardly ever rains here. I think we might opt for some gravel and nice cacti.

Clothes don't normally stay in the hamper. You have to wash them once in a while.

My answer - don't wash anything that isn't in the laundry basket, wherever you decide to put it. Messy for a little while but it gets the point across.

I earn money and help pay for everything. There is not a single bill that my husband covers alone. So I don't expect to take care of our house alone. :)

You should have married someone that can support you.

My wife is the main bread winner atm. All I have to do is feed the cat, vacuum, cook dinner and service her now and then and she's good to go.

No I don't. We outsource such tasks to focus our time on more interesting things. Too bad you can't do the same.

I do not need to. My wife has plenty of time for that as I earn enough money to support us. I could hire maid(s) but they would never clean good enough for Alla, it would just be torture for them.

But hey, whatever you husband is willing to settle for is fine by me. I am pro-choice. Aren't you?
