it hurts so much to know that the person you love is only with you because of the visa,he feels like he is stuck with me.The engagement doesnt mean anything,he just did that so I wont get disappointed.And the worse is,he is only with me because he doesnt have a choice,he cant be with the one he wants to choose.ouch!!!!!..i have feelings dont you know that???

I'm sorry that you're going through this, but I hope you aren't carrying on with a petition for a person who is only with you to get a visa. If you knowingly take part in something like that, you're committing visa fraud just like he is.

If its not love, let him go. Its hard, but many things in life aren't easy. You deserve someone who actually loves you, not someone who feels they are stuck with you or with you for a visa.

There is nowher but down with this relationship. Cut your loss before you become married to someone who is there clearly for a green card. You don't have to settle for less. Your aching heart will heal over time.

So you're lovetolast000, and you're also matt & hazel?

I know it has to be tough however it will only get harder the deeper you'll push yourself into a relationship when the feelings aren't mutual. Regardless of your username, why not simply avoid going to the interview and medical? One thing is being legally free to marry, another is being mentally free to marry. IMO, if both parts aren't both, then either postpone the immigration process, or move on without each other.

I personally wouldn't commit to marrying anyone if that person couldn't fully commit to marrying me.

well im trying to keep this situation and our identity.my other account tells everything about us.and he always check that matt and hazel account so I made this one so he wont see that I posted this.but then I forgot that I wasnt logged into this new account I made. :bonk:
