Question regarding NVC

Me and my spouse were just recently Approved on our 2 NOA Aug, 27, 2012. I was wandering about how long does it take to recive information from the NVC? And about how long from the Start to the Interview process 1 or 2 months?

Actually im searching for step for the next notification just like you because only from check case status in USCIS webpage and i did not get mail or e-mail yet. I hope someone will post something in here Anyway Congratulation~^* to Alpha86 (:

You should probably get something from the NVC within a month of your NOA2. This will be a request to pay the AOS fee ($88) and to register your choice of agent. At that point, you can also pay the other fees (I also paid a $230 fee for the IV packet), and start your AOS and D3032/D260 applications.

It does vary, but the whole NVC process took me about 1 month and a half.

If you follow the advice of the very experienced VJ's and study their guides throughout you can't go wrong

They really are free friendly and helpful immigration lawyers lol

I did just want to point out that Visa Journey is not run by lawyers nor are the guides on Visa Journey written by Immigration lawyers, rather are the result of information provided by USCIS and the experiences of our members. While we do have immigration lawyers as members, they do not participate on the site as lawyers but as regular members just like everyone else. Site Administration endeavors to keep the guides accurate and up to date but it is a constantly changing environment. Everyone participates by letting the site know when something has changed so we can update the various guides and pinned topics. Our members are actually the most valuable asset of the site because they are the ones who contain a wealth of information gained from personal experiences with the US immigration system and who share freely of their expertise and their personal immigration journeys. Just to clarify, I intended to mean that a lot of people on here are just as good as Immigration lawyers if not better in My Opinion. Not that they actually are lawyers
