Sept 16 - NOA1s received

2014

Feb 25 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office for processing

Feb 26 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred to my local office for processing

Feb 28 - got emails saying that the cases have been transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

Mar 18 - got emails saying that the petitions are approved smile.png

I received my RFE today. One of the things it asks for is my sponser's (father in-law) proof of citizenship. It says passport or birth certificate on there and NOT copies of. Can it be copies or do we send the real deal in?

29th August 06 - Biometrics

18th September 06 - Case (AOS) transfered to CSC on 9/14 (advised by mail)

4/6/10th October 06 - EAD touched!

11th October 06 - Email from USCIS - EAD Approved on 10/10! Card on the way!

16th October 06 - EAD card received!

16th October 06 - EAD Application email received confirming letter to be sent.

22nd February 07 - Email sent to USCIS requesting an update.

5th March 07 - Case touched! AOS is now "pending" at the CSC! Progress!

5th March 07 - Email from CSC confirming I am awaiting the results of the FBI name check.

27th April 07 - Email received. A notice requesting additional info has been mailed.

4th May 07 - RFE letter arrived.

21st May 07 - RFE docs returned to USCIS by mail.

6th June 07 - Email from CRIS saying RFE received and case processing has resumed!

26th June 07 - Phone call from a USCIS officer at the CSC in California asking for a copy of my I-94 by fax.

Copies should be fine...I don't think they expect you to send your FIL's real passport nor his birth certificate.

Things seem to ahve slowed down in the past couiple of months. I remember when i was transfered to csc people were being approved very quickly, i still see the odd quick approval but it is becoming rarer.

Still no word on my case. I have an infopass appointment for the 15th (181 days after transfer to csc) to find out whats going on.

09/14/2006 - US Embassy interview. Ask Lauren to marry me again, just to make sure. Says Yes. Phew!

10/02/2006 - Fly to New York, EAD at JFK, I'm in!!

i applied on EAD 81 days ago with AOS after k-1 visa, AOS transfered to CSC and never had touches on the EAD after the biomatrics interview, am dying for the EAD, i need it bad, so i searched about how many days to write inquiry about EAD, it says 90 and u can Interim EAD,,, which i dont have any experince about it at all!!!

can any body help me and explain it for me?

how much time it takes?

what is the catch?

how much it cost?

how to get it?

is it postive or negative to do it?

No interim EAD's are being issued at the moment. The fee for the EAD was paid when you submitted your AOS packet. Do you have a NOA date for your EAD? That's the date you go by when counting the 90 days. There is no catch that I'm aware of nor is there anything negative or positive about the EAD unless the negative would be the wait. Hope this answered your questions.
