what does my wife have to mark on question 24 and 25 of her i-864 form since she have never had income ( student) ?

If she never made an income wouldn't the answer be 0?

Called NVC today---no luck! they received the case on august 27th, said try back 10-20 business days from that date

keep calling ljm, this process has a way of discouraging people. Try morning and night calling as suggested by many, you never know; you may hear the answer you are looking for when you least expect.

If he's using just ASSETS and not income, then an employment letter isn't necessary, but bank statements are.

Please re-read the questions on the form as well as the I-864 instructions. It's not that hard of a form to fill out.

If using income = employment letter and/or pay stub(s)

If using just assets = bank statements

Ok i called NVC so here is info i got jus incase somebody was wondering about it she said 10-20 business days for I864 to be invoiced but it can be before that and for the DS3032 email it can take 5-15 business days to be looked at.. so hopefully we will all hear something soon if you just got your case number

Jamaican luv, those timelines aren't accurate. That's what all the operators say, but it's usually a lot sooner. I just say thank you, hang up, and call back the next day like nothing happened. So keep updated on your case at least every couple of days. Good luck!

Okay, people, hi! Checking in! Haha I still have no interview date! :'( I am calling the NVC to find out...am I calling the right place or is there a way to get in touch with the consulate itself or whatever? I just feel like it's been a long time but I know it's busy right now! Gosh I'm so excited to get my hubby up here I miss him so much! Let's go NVC let's get those cases rollin'!
