I can't believe it. It started snowing yesterday and is still doing it now. It's coming down pretty good out there. Thank goodness the ground is still to warm for it to stick. It was only 28 when I got up this morning and is only supposed to make it into the upper 30's today. If this is any indication of what our winter is going to be like we better watch out.

I'm in the mountains of NC if anyone is wondering.

Is it snowing anywhere else now? Or you people where it's warm let all us cold folks know how warm it is where you are.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

Would you settle for a half-### response?

Well, no snow yet, though we've had weather between 34 and 50 F (OK for me, raised in Calgary but frigid for Pras whose only experience with less-than-hot weather was 32 days in Anantnag).

I think I remember it snowing this early in October before. It has been a long time though. I guess that's why I'm kinda shocked you could say. In the area where I live all the old timers have ways to determine how bad the winter is going to be. Fogs in August, certain bugs chirping at certains times, etc. It's pretty interesting actually. They say it's going to be a bad winter. I suppose this is just the beginning.

It's cold enough to snow here, but not yet. We had snow earlier this month though. I always hum Christmas songs to myself when it starts snowing, even as early as this.

Actually in Florida right now it's not warm. Warm compared to snow but not compared to usual Florida weather. At the moment it's only 49 outside here! :o

I woke up this morning feeling cold, and just thought it was from our a/c. Then when I looked at the a/c it was a low house temp way below the a/c setting and I was shocked. But I was excited too since I knew it meant it won't be hot today. It's so weird here. On Saturday it was almost 90 and 3 days later the high will be just touching 70.

But I like cooler weather(not freezing weather) so I'm happy.

Its a balmy 60 degrees here in southern California. I did get a letter from my sister and she said there was enough snow on Grand Mesa on the western slope of Colorado to open up Powerhorn if the forest service would let them do it.

We havent got snow here in GA yet, though my husband said its not been snowing since for winter season in GA by December. But every morning when i sent my 2 sons outside to wait for the school bus, its really cold and foggy nowadays. Even the kids says they usually play at their school ground wearing their jackets because they been chilled with the cold winds eventhough it's sunny.

The only cold air i've experienced living in the Philippines is when its rainy season, storm or driving up to Baguio City which is the coldest windy part of our country. So, now my husband starting to prepare for winter season only for me because i'm not used of cold weather.

Funny thing happened yesterday when i went to my Infopass is ...... my husband left to the parking area inside the van and its 3 streets away from the USCIS in atlanta. After the infopass, i walked thru the street, but after 20 steps of walking, my spine where sickly chilling ... i end up garbled talking to my husband cellphone and asking for help to pick me instead quickly in the corner of the street  before anyone from the bystander call for 911 :help: to help me.
