Oh NOOOOOOOOO snowing!!! when i have my visa, hopefully in the next 2-5 weeks, am movin to NC and up in the mountains too, gawd i thot my hubby was kidding me when he told me this mornin it was snowing

Sorry I missed this yesterday. I'm near Boone. I don't know if you've heard of any of these but I'll throw some out, Appalachian State University, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Sugar Mountain, and a couple more ski mountains. I live about 30 mintues from Boone in Avery County.

Where will you be moving too in the mountains? It must be close to here since your hubby said it was snowing too.

I'm in the foothills. The past few winters have gone right around us. They've had snow in the mountains and around Charlotte and the Triad, but it usually misses us here in Morganton. It looks as though we may get some this winer tho. Which will be nice, the dogs and I like to play in it

not quite an hour from Boone. I'm just off I-40 tho, and Boone is on 321.
