They shouldn't be allowed at all! If someone owes taxes, why should they not pay them? If they owe $10,000+ in taxes, they should be able to afford to pay it. I can't imagine paying that much in taxes. :lol:

I agree they shouldn't be allowed, but until our friendly IRS changes it's policies and eliminates the negotiating for back taxes, these lawyers will have a fluid market. If you eliminate the food source, the rats will die.

I agree they shouldn't be allowed, but until our friendly IRS changes it's policies and eliminates the negotiating for back taxes, these lawyers will have a fluid market. If you eliminate the food source, the rats will die.

I don't understand how the IRS works sometimes. I just received a check from the IRS, for tax overpayment in my 2010 taxes, for the amount of $ 1.43! I had the check framed.

They sent me a letter advising me of the overpayment. I then called the 800 number and asked them to zap the check and call it even, to no avail. It must have cost us at least $5 to have the check mailed to me, considering all the overhead involved..

Go friggin figure...

I get a letter from the IRS every so often saying I owe them $0.00 from tax year 2006, and they want it now! I'm thinking of sending them a check for $0.00.

It's not bad enough that the US taxpayer has to pay for their education, but let's give them a nice big tax credit too! :wacko:

Thank God no tax credits to the rich who create jobs. Maybe the illegals will give us work!
