Case Completed on Aug-Did you get your interview date yet?

Hi Guys!

Has anybody here got their Case Completed this Month of Aug??and Did you guys get your Interview Date yet??

I am just wondering as those who got their case completed on Aug 2 have their interviews scheduled on the 2nd week of Sept so I am trying to find out if they will be able to fill us in for Sept as well. Know also that USEM Manila had to re-schedule interviews due to the flood one week ago.

I would say August 9 case complete would be on the cusp of a September or October interview. Good luck to you.

My case was completed on August 7. But I still haven't gotten an interview date.

Our case was completed on AUG 14th. Hoping for an end of Sept/ begining Oct interview but each country is different.

Each country is different in some ways but NVC assigns interviews randomly distributed during an available month. If September is available, it could be any day in September. The same goes for October. If an October interview is available and 20 interviews for X country are assigned TODAY for X country, those 20 interviews get spread over the entire month. The same goes for Monday.

Good to know I have a trip planned to the US from Sept 4-23, just hoping it doesnt fall in the middle. In worst case scenario I can change my flight or request a new interview date which would be a shame after all this time. Been trying to time everything just right, so far so good but you never know. Under no circumstance am I missing my husbands interview

My case was complete in August and got my interview date last Wednesday. Quicker than I expected, and that is the first time I've been able to say that this whole process. Now if September 24th could hurry up I'd appreciate it.

I have a Q:

My case was expedited after sending & completed the AOS & packet IV In NVC.

And NVC told us that it was send to US embassy Aug9, If i have some concerns i will contact the US embassy instead.

Now I registered our case (CR1 category) online in our US embassy website, after that there is an option : schedule an interview?

So i click that option and gave me series of dates on when to schedule an interview-- i choose Sep 12 & they gave me a confirmation appointment.

I am not sure if i am doing the right thing. So I called the US embassy hotline & talk to an agent.

I ask them if my case Was already there or arrived in the US embassy,

But they cant confirm to me that my case is alteady there. So they ask me some Q regarding my case & passport. And told me that my interview is on Sep 12.

I told them that i was the one who pick the interview date from their website options not the NVC bec my case was expedited. The agent told me-""- its okay because by the time of your interview your case will arrive, it will take with in a month for a case to arrive in US Embassy from NVC""

In addition the Agent advice me to take the physical exam 1-2weeks before the interview date.

So i guess that was it,, sep 12 it is.

Does anyone here experience the same way i have??

Did I make the right thing???

Or ill wait until my case will arrive at the embassy & their instructions???

Im scared if by the Time ill go to US Embassy my case is still not there.

Expedited cases are treated differently. For regular cases in Manila, NVC will notify you of the interview date instead of you scheduling it yourself.

They(NVC) told us since it was approved for expedite process, they are not the one who will schedule our case for an interview... After they (NVC) completed our case they expedite it and send ahead to US embassy Manila right away... Any inquiry & interview of our case they advice us to call the Embassy instead..
