Hi guys, I have a question, do any of you know if I can travel to USA while waiting for my k1 visa.

My fiancé wants me to move to the states and just wait there for the process, and if I need to come back for the interview. Will I have any problems trying to go through customs?? Any advice?

you cant move to the united states before the visa is complete. you cant visit if you can get your visa. and you would have to return for your interview...

but its good being with your partner on this long wait for the visa..

I've done this once (on a b2), no problems. Bring strong ties to your home country. Where are you from? We filed June 4th and I've pretty much been in the states since apart from one week, so it is possible. It's all down to the border agent On the day. What airport you coming in through? Do you have strong ties that you can prove you will return?

Think she's just asking if she can visit before k1 is issued, not move to the states beforehand.

April 30th 2011 Met in Las Vegas, NV at Paris Resort and Casino

June 4th 2012 Mailed I-129F from Salt Lake City, UT to Dallas, TX

June 6th 2012 Received in Dallas

June 11th 2012 Text/E-mail of NOA1

June 14th 2012 Received hardcopy of NOA1

August 16th 2012 Received text/e-mail of NOA2

August 27th 2012 NVC received petition

Sep 3rd 2012 Received Packet 3 from London Embassy

^This is good stuff. The only thing I'll add is: And don't volunteer any info unless specifically asked about it.
