If it's an RFE and you can respond to it properly, of course you can get approved. They'd have sent a denial if you couldn't.

Exactly - so don't get too downhearted. Just respond to it in a timely manner.

RFEs? Yes. People get them all the time. It's unfortunate, but hey, they're giving you a chance to fix your mistakes. They wouldn't give you that chance if they were going to outright deny your petition. Don't worry. Be patient, see what they want and provide it quickly.

Oh yeah! Definitely common.

The RFEs that are hard to overcome are those that you just cannot provide evidence for, for example:

* You claimed to be single but your divorce isn't final and you can't produce a court order.

* You have met face to face with your fiance, but you have no pictures of the two of you together and they are not convinced that you have met at least once in the past two years.

* etc.

I can't answer that, I don't work there. Just know that it's happened to people before and they've overcome it and nothing is impossible.

Well - if they found you previous response insufficient and sent you second RFE for the same thing and it will be sufficient againt, there won't be third - you'll get denial instead.
