Hey there Visa Journey! I have not been here in a while. This site was very very helpful in getting my wife here to the States. The wife wants to split from this relation as I do I. I will not go into the details as to why we not getting along.. All I can say is that for all you good folks here stuck in this long and exspensive process is that you are really never going to know your wife/women till you spend a good length of time together.

The wife says she will go stay with here sister in Arkansas,,,,I say I have a plane ticket for you and six months of spending money...

What to do if anything is my question...Just say good by or because this is Cr-1 petition is there something any of you here recommend???

She has been here approx 18 months.

Until she earns 40 quarters of social security credit. Until she dies. Until you die. Until she gains US citizenship. Until she permanently leaves the US

It is becoming more and more common for the courts to hit the sponsors with "alimony" payments equal to 125% of poverty guidelines.

Might want to review the instructions again especially page (3)

Just curious, where are you seeing that courts are awarding spousal support based on the I-864? I've only seen a couple of incidents. Would love to have more source material to share.

It is not "becoming more and more common" in fact it's still, and always has been, rare. Please provide a link that shows the amount of divorces where alimony is awarded based on the I-864 in increasing amounts over time.

Absolutely true. This plays out here seemingly weekly.

You are very generous considering the views that she has of your kids.
