I'm sure this has been covered in prior threads, but I could not find one. What questions will my fiance be asked during the inerview process? Thanks in advance.

The consulate officer can ask any manner or type of questions in order to determine whether your visa application should be approved or declined. For Phil-specific info, you may want to re-post your inquiry at the Phil regional forum.

Good luck on your visa journey.

examples that I've read are:

name of the petitioner?

what does the petitioner do for a living?

have you ever lived in the US?

when and where will the wedding take place?

who will be at the wedding?

how did you two meet?

these are more general, as stated before you may want to re-post in Phil regional forum

USCIS:

09/06/11 - I130 Mailed (USPS Priority)

09/07/11 - I130 Received

09/09/11 - NOA1 via text/email (rerouted to CSC)

02/27/2011 - NOA2 via text/email/website -I130 Approved!

From what I've seen it's different for everyone.

I was asked questions like:

Have you visited your fiance since he applied for the K1?

Have you met his family?

Has he met yours?

(we lived together in the UK for 3 years so I think these questions were standard for the interviewer that I got)

Where are you moving exactly?

What does your fiance do for work?

How did he propose?

Do you have a ring?

It was very informal and chatty.

I would check the reviews for the embassy you are going through for information. http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/

People may recent detail of their interviews.

Best of luck!

Another place to look for interview information is the embassy/consulates reviews section.

Mostly fairly obvious questions, how did you meet, when was your fiance last here, what did you do, does he have brothers and sisters, what are their names, did you meet his parents, do you have wedding plans, what kind of work does your fiance do, what is job title...

All things you should really already know, so no reason to panic!

good.gif Questions depend on: The interviewers mood, the country where the interview is taking place and the nationality of the beneficiary (if different than country of interview), the particular circumstances of each couple, etc.

As A&B suggested, the best way to find recent experiences and more guidance, is to browse through the Embassy Reviews http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/

Hopefully your petition is so full of good information you will just be asked the standard fair of questions. just do as suggested and review your countries questions. And every couple have their unique circumstances so some questions may be more tailored to them also.

This is the question CO asked me during my interview

WHERE AND WHEN DID YOU MET?

HAVE YOU BEEN OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY?

DID YOU APPLY TOURIST VISA BEFORE?

FINAL QUESTION: WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO GET MARRIED IN USA WHILE YOUR FAMILY AND FRIEND IS LIVING HERE.

I had only 4 question since my fiance is with me during my interview so the CO as him as well.
