I would not be so quick to make a decision to dump the guy. It happens all the time, a man goes to another country and meets a woman and spends a few days or a few weeks with her, then comes home and files for a visa. He don't really know her, he would never agree to marry someone in his own country after being with someone for that amount of time. Kind of what a fiance visa is for, to allow the two of you to be together for 90 days, then at the end of that period together get married or not get married. The visa gives you a little more time to make that decision to spent your life with this guy, or not. I've seen it happen several times, either the woman in the Phills or the foreign man keeps on dating other people. The guy could have lied to you and come up with another story, so he probably is being truthful about being faithful when you come here . Now you can chat online for years, but you don't really know a person until you spend a lot of time with them in person.

No, I'm not saying it is right, or that all foreign men, or all women in the Phills are unfaithful to the ones they are engaged too, but some are. Most will be faithful after they are married, some will not that is just the way it is.

Don't worry about what all these people think of your comment. All of these people like to team up on anyone who brings something different to the table. They really remind me of a bunch of Nancies marching down the street during a Gay Pride Parade.

Just to add. You being in the US won't stop your fiance from boom booming the neighbours, his coworkers, your coworkers, girls he meets on the net or females he meets innocently enough at the grocery store.

Is he that handsome ????? Can "boom boom" anyone ? LOL

Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years.

I reckon he's damn good looking. One second of eye contact with any woman and he will beguile them. And he already has atleast 2 under his belt.

Ummm, wrong again, Kimosabe. Some of us met in person, and CHOSE to marry someone from a different country, but by no means did we HAVE to. I chose to because I know several Filipinas, and loved what I see in their personalities, culture, and devotion to their men. Far better than what I have experienced in other cultures, including my own Kano one.

Far from "had to go half way around the world", I (and I probably speak for many on here) CHOSE to do it. Please do not project your own situation/circumstances onto the rest of us. Say "I" vs. "everyone".

I wasn't looking for a relationship when I met Marife, I was on a business trip to Hong Kong and happen to meet her at a restaurant. The LAST thing I was looking for was to fall in love with somebody half way around the world and to be forced into the frustrating world of the Homeland Security and State Departments.

I live in Waikiki Hawaii and somehow, I don't have to have sex with every beautiful woman on the beach. If somebody can't be faithful after they are engaged there is 0% chance they will be after 5, 10, 15 years (or even during the first year).

I read the posts on this thread, but can't help myself but respond.

My fiancee and I did not plan this relationship ahead of time. I was accidentally introduced to her by our common friend. Four years later, we are now being subjected to torture by the Homeland Security because we want to take our relationship further. She did not look for love in the US. She still wants me to stay in the PHL and live with her. She has to give up a lot.

With that said, both of us are adults and know the temptations of cheating. If you ask her, she will also say she gets a lot of suitors. There is one courting her right now. D**M Ba**Stard** I had my share as well that she knows. After all these years of being together, we did not lapse not even once because we are committed to this relationship.

In a month, we talk about 3000 daytime minutes and 5x more minutes on nights and weekends. Cell phone companies (both US and PHL) must really hate us. This is our way to compensate for being not physically together. Communication is the key. I made sure that she lets any ounce of emotion because that small ounce left unattended can also lead to cheating.

Cheating no matter what your body tells you is a choice. @OP - never ever start a relationship especially across the globe with a tainted relationship because she does not live with him yet. For us, we use the maximize my cell minutes to get to know each other. I don't hold back either. I gave my fiancee the worse scenario for us. Three jobs and a kid. I told her that she will be depressed when she comes here because of the adjustment period. She will see me fart all over the place and refuse to wash the dishes. If people break up over a small personality, please consider that cheating is one of the worse kinds.

As for the person who said that K-1 Visas are a reason to date. All I am going to say, you must be rich and dumb or insane to date someone for at least $2000 (fees, and plane ticket) and there's a long wait period. May as well pay for a Match.com and date every person you see on that site. :bonk:

To the OP:

Please run away as fast as you can, and never look back. If you stay, you are setting yourself up for future disaster. No cheating partner is ever worth your time.

This is a hard time, but you will never regret running away from someone who never treated you fairly.

Regards, and thank the Lord for protecting you.

Ezzie
