Hello everyone!

I just wanted to ask...how long does it take to get your interview date?

My case was completed last week...27th maybe?

And i called and they said it depends on the consulate...now...if you are from nicaragua maybe you could help, but even if you arent, could you please tell me how long did it take to get yours? Im planning to get an avarage jejej.

Thank you for your help

This is completely dependent upon your consulate/embassy. So, it's time for you to do your own research: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?cfl=0&op1=3&op2=d&op3=5&op4=1&op5=5,6,8,10,11,13,14,15,16,17,18,20,21,22,25,26,27,28,108,110,111,208,210,211&op6=All&op7=Nicaragua&dfile=No&adv=

Saylin can you help me on how to track my letter from tx to va? I received the welcome letter & receipt on June 8.I went to the uscis site and I only find one information over there is USPS picked up my new card from uscis on June 8 & I should get it within 7 days.i didn't get any info on production & approved like yours. Do you know how to get tracking number/ how to track my letter from USPS?The reason I asked bcoz I saw it on Lauren& Collins profile.

Sorry for the late reply, so this'll be for everyone else but you..

Hey ! Call USCIS, get a human, ask for the TRACKING NUMBER on the green card.

Yes, such a thing exists, and they will give it to you when asked.

Then call USPS and inquire for status.

In the end, if USPS sent it back to USCIS, you'll need to call USCIS again, talk with an ISO about 'returned mail pieces', go over your address again on the telephone, and ask to have all returned mail pieces sent back to you.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

-=-=-=-=-=R E A D ! ! !=-=-=-=-=-

Whoa Nelly ! Want NVC Info? see http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process

Congratulations on your approval ! We All Applaud your accomplishment with Most Wonderful Kissies !

OCTOBER Appointments are here. The long wait is over.

Case complete at NVC 7 Aug

Interview date 9 Oct.

You all wouldn't believe the the argument I got into with the girl at NVC today. I finally had to get transferred to her supervisor, who was very nice and helpful. But, she still said that I had to wait. She said that they would be scheduling until the 18th this month and to call back next Tue.

Now get this, she (the supervisor) called me back this afternoon and said she had some good news for me. My wife was scheduled for 9 Oct and I would be getting a packet in an email next week.

MY QUESTION: I know there is a checklist somewhere on this site that tells me what to send my wife so she can bring to the interview. Anyone know where that list is?

Good luck all. looks like they are finally scheduling interviews for those that have been waiting sooo long.

Not sure what checklist you're referring to...

I guess that it is a good idea to bring items to the interview to "prove" that this is a "bona fide" marriage. Photos, bank accounts, Airline tickets, etc. I thought I saw a list on the site one time of good to have items when going in to the interview. Cant seem to find one now.

Oh, you're referring to the thread with a list of proof of evidences. Here it is: http://www.visajourn...e-relationship/ And yes, it's a VERY good idea that you bring proof of relationship. In some places, it's almost mandatory.
