Congrats everyone! I'm jealous

Instead, I will start my own countdown! 26 days until I make an infopass appointment for David to get the passport stamp so we can go to Morocco! The trip's not until June, but our local office (Baltimore) is super busy and the dates go very quickly. More irritating is that he has to take a personal day in order to do it and doesn't get very many at his job...

It seems I may also have an issues when the time comes for my GC being mailed. When my attorney changed my address with USCIS they only changed it with the # on the original NOA/Extenstion letter. The # that is on the ASC Appointment Notice and the one we use for tracking shows no address change. So I called USCIS, they can't confirm what address they have on file apparently. I had them change my address on the correct case number but it may not go through in time. So it's possible that when my new GC is mailed it will go to my OLD address. Luckily I have a forwarding service with USPS which means it won't be delivered there, it will just get sent back to USCIS.

So annoying. You'd think my attorneys office would have picked up on this. I'm making an infopass appointment to go and find out what's going on with my address.

Hello, my wife and I received an RFE today. I am very concerned as I do not want my wife kicked out of the country. I thought we submitted enough information. The RFE shows we submitted 2010 and 2011 tax returns, one bank statement for 2012 with no transaction history, 2011 flight itinerary, 2009 insurance policy (which is still active), health insurance and prescription cards, 2012 benefit election, 2012 beneficiaries summary and lease agreement and photos.

Not sure what else different to send them except updated copies such as our just filed 2012 tax return. Since I do not have all of our past leases was thinking of getting statements from two banks and the landlord stating that my wife and I have been on the accounts since we've been married. We do not have kids yet so we can't submit anything related to children.

We got an RFE too. If you have any kind of bill with her name on it send those. We sent in family cell phone bills over the last year and half, 2 years worth of bank statements (apparently I hadn't sent in enough the first time so I sent them ALL our history), a voided check with both our names on it, a few medical bills showing the same address, copies of my Driver's License and his ID, some more photos starting from the time we filed in June til the time we received the RFE, our 2012 taxes, and they asked for any W-2s. I also sent in a copy of his SSC with the tear off paper part that shows our address. We also don't rent/own a house or own a car so I had 5 people sign affidavits and got them notarized.

Hello, my wife and I received an RFE today. I am very concerned as I do not want my wife kicked out of the country. I thought we submitted enough information. The RFE shows we submitted 2010 and 2011 tax returns, one bank statement for 2012 with no transaction history, 2011 flight itinerary, 2009 insurance policy (which is still active), health insurance and prescription cards, 2012 benefit election, 2012 beneficiaries summary and lease agreement and photos.

Not sure what else different to send them except updated copies such as our just filed 2012 tax return. Since I do not have all of our past leases was thinking of getting statements from two banks and the landlord stating that my wife and I have been on the accounts since we've been married. We do not have kids yet so we can't submit anything related to children.

Your thoughts?

One 2012 bank statement could be the reason - they expect 3 or 4 full statements covering the full period. Once you get the letter in hand you will know the full details - don't worry about kids stuff.
