hi guys..just wanted to get some feedback regarding on Dr. Arnold's effectivity when it comes on transcribing medical records..can someone share their experiences..thanks..

Dr. Arnold retired from medical practice two or three years ago, at approximately age 74. See the thread entitled something like "Civil Surgeons Who Won't Rip You Off" in this forum, and perhaps you'll find a Civil Surgeon in your geographical area.

Dr. Arnold was a civil surgeon to whom you could simply send in medical reports from any doctor, and the doctor would simply transcribe them onto the medical examination form. Dr. Arnold charged something like $30 bucks and never saw any patients. Eventually IOs started refusing to take reports from Dr. Arnold and then the doctor stopped doing them and retired. I don't know if USCIS actually took Dr. Arnold off the civil surgeon list.

If you are reading me to say that the doctor never ever saw a patient in his life, then you're misunderstanding me.

It was well known that the doctor never examined intending immigrants. Or do you have different information? I don't know how you want me to modify it.

THANK YOU for posting this. I posted something similar several months ago about how IO's started rejecting his medicals and how I believe he was taken off the list from posts I had read (aside from retiring.. it seems a bit coincidental that he would retire around the time his medicals were being rejected and yet the two weren't related) and my comments were not appreciated and I was told he "only retired"... Good to know someone else remembers the same thing (more or less) that something wasn't quite right with him and that he broke the rules.

I know for a fact that he did examine some intending immigrants. Please take care when presenting "always" or "never" statements.

We may never know for sure, but he was in his early-to-mid-70s.
