Yes it is very very tough. Keep up your regular communication. And try to keep yourself occupied and busy. Take it one day at a time. And when you get an intense moment of missing your fiancee, call.

I also play the games on the VJ website. It is found in the "Off Topic" forum. That could help pass some of the time.

how do you deal the distance. im having a tough time. just seeing my fiance via skype and not being able to be there is getting tougher and tougher.

Try to NOT think about the distance and time. I have found that even mundane task help make it a little easier. For example, Sveta and I "go shopping" while we are in Skype. We can easily spend 2-3 hours browsing for clothes, electronics etc... The distance and time is very difficult, there are a lot of days that, quite honestly, all I want to do is tell her how much I miss her and need her while i have a bit of a cry. For me, the single biggest helper is planning a trip to visit her in 6 weeks. Just try your very best to stay occupied. It's tough as hell, but what a relief it'll be when it's over!!!!!

Yes!!! Thanks for the lead. It is so different and far more advanced which makes it easier to stay in touch with my husband.

we watched movies via skype and keep our labtops on at night this way it feels like were together. the more time we spend together communicating and up to date on whats going on the easier this journey seems. Currently working on configuring skype on my cell phone.

Once you're married for a while you'll think back and wish you had that distance again for a few days here and there.

Where ignorance is bliss, 'tis folly to be wise

There will be time enough for that ... My mother told me she had been married 60 years and never had an argument.

Then she would add.. "He wouldn't dare"

Make hay while the sun shines and have a wonderful life you two - including all the ups AND DOWNS which I guaranteed will come....

That is pretty interesting. I didn't know the share function worked for movies. My wife and MIL spent hours using the screen share to shop for curtains a few weeks ago though.
