Question about the Time estimates from VJ

I find it interesting that the estimated timing based on my inputed profile information has been changing each day.

But what is this based on? Are all filers being averaged together?

Even though certain filers based on their status as non-US Citizens are assured to have a longer wait, how is this difference accounted for in these estimates?

Are open cases listed here also included? And what about the double entries?

Thanks to anyone that could shed more light as we try and get a realistic estimate.

your timeline here is merely an estimate of VJ users. The average processing time at the USCIS is currently 5 months. It could be less, it could be more. No one can give you an exact time. This time does not include processing time at the NVC or the consulate.

We also perform a range of general statistical measures to best estimate the timeline approval times for benefits. The estimates may vary some amount day to day as new data is entered by members.
