Can't hurt to give NVC a call for an update

I was reading some of the old notes and posts. people are telling that if your case is stuck at NVC for few days for additional processing, you might have chance that your case wil stuck at emabssy and you will get 221 g notice .

It will take additional time to process case.

Congratulations!! I called NVC yesterday and they assured me that K-1 visas "fly through here" and "there is no back-log, or delays". So once it's in the system, it should go out in no time at all! Now I'm trying to figure out how to speed up the embassy stage, since the Lithuanian consulate can't be that busy to take over a month to get an interview scheduled (we already completed all the docs and the medical).

hey sorry to bother you again but when we see that two packets sent to India, does that mean that those were the packets NVC received like week ago and they checked it and now sending them?? because I called them the day before yesterday and they said they did not get packet yet.....so when NVC get my packet(case), do i know that by tracking DHL? or i just know that they take little time to recheck my case and then send it to us consulate,(DHL tracking)

sorry if I am making anyone confuse, I am little bad at explaining.

These packages are the ones that are enroute to the embassy. When your case is complete at NVC this is a way you can check to see if any are going to India without having to call so often But calling is fine too. There's no way of knowing if this is a certain persona case being transferred It's a guess. One way to know for sure is when NVC tells you the date they mailed your package out to the embassy, then you know for sure the one for that date your watching at DHL.com is your package. It's fun to watch it move along to the destination :)
