I received my NOA2 Apr 12 and NVC received my petition Apr 26. As of today, my petition still has not left NVC :( It is so frustrating - almost more so than waiting for the NOA2 because i knew that wait would be long, and everyone kept saying how fast it would go once it got to NVC, however, our petition is one of the lucky ones that got pulled to undergo additional processing and they will give no time frame on when it will be be sent to the embassy. I can't tell you how disappointing it is to think you are finally on your way (i know - its only the beginning of the journey) only to be stuck at NVC. I'm trying to stay positive but it's really getting tough.

I am in same boat. Mine was also Approved on April 12 , I got my Case number from NVC on April 26. Still nochange. Nothing has happened yet. Still waiting:(

they have not transferred my case yet

Some people move right through NVC. Some randomly get a review which delays the forwarding to the embassy. No worries, though. It moves on!

We sat around for 30 days, and it was very frustrating. After that, things seemed to move super rapidly!

Hang in there! :)

exactly how i feel!

It's understandable how everyone feels. I just received notification of NOA2 on Tuesday and already I'm anxious for the next step! Our feelings make sense though - waiting for the NOA2 is the longest processing time in this process. We send our packets off with no response for about 5 months, and once you finally receive USCIS acknowledgment, it feels like such a relief. Plus, with everyone saying how fast the NVC part moves, it's really just that it's fast by comparison.

Another common topic I've noticed though is from people saying how fast USCIS moves in spring. But wouldn't it make sense that if USCIS is moving faster now and approving petitions and sending them to NVC... it causes delays at NVC?

Patience is a virtue, but waiting sucks! :P

Do you have a case number now?

Mine was approved 14th April and NVC received on 30th of April, no Case # yet.

I do have a case number, they gave me a case number April 26. I looked at two older threads on this topic and it looks like it could be anywhere from 2 weeks (which i have passed that) to 2 months :(

I don't know why the wait is so much harder now, but it is!

I am in same boat. Mine was also Approved on April 12 , I got my Case number from NVC on April 26. Still nochange. Nothing has happened yet. Still waiting:(

they have not transferred my case yet

At least i know now that i am not the only one! Not that it makes it any better, but I just kept thinking wth? everyone seems to zoom right thru NVC and i am wondering whats going on with my petition that is holding it up.

I'm glad this topic was posted because it helps to know that not everyone moves right thru NVC. I haven't called in the last couple of days because I got tired of hearing the same thing. I have tried using this link

I also just got off the phone with the NVC, it was a surprisingly instant call transfer. Unfortunately they still have not input my K-1 petition into the system, although my NOA2 was April 26th. No worries though, seems the longer processing time for the NVC is pretty common now. Just trying to be patient with the US government. I realize Uncle Sam is getting older and therefore slower, so, it makes sense
