06-??-05: Met on mission trip in El Salvador...

07-28-05: Said goodbye...sniff, sniff

05-19-06: He was denied the tourist visa by the Embassy in Managua...

06-15-06: I couldn't wait any longer...flew to see him in Managua...

07-??-06: We got engaged.

07-13-06: I flew back to the U.S.

10-03-06: I-129F sent certified express mail

10-06-06: Notice Left, October 06, 2006, 11:29 am, MESQUITE, TX 75185 (um..maybe tomorrow?!)

10-10-06: Your item was delivered at 6:40 am on October 10, 2006 in MESQUITE, TX 75185 to INS . The item was signed for by M S.

10-16-06: NOA1 date...no email...but this is the date on the official copy that they sent to me (it's so pretty!).

10-19-06: Check posted (online banking).

10-20-06: Received NOA1 snail mail.

01-04-07: NOA2 (93 days)

01-11-07: Received NOA2 snail mail.

01-20-07: Letter from NVC: Case will be on its way to Managua within 1 week. (Date on letter: Jan 16).

01-26-07: Fran receives packet three and INTERVIEW DATE.

03-13-07: Interview date. Visa granted! Gracias a Dios.

03-18-07: We fly back to the U.S.

03-22-07: We get married!

06-??-07: We file I-485.

Hold up b/c notice of biometrics appointment doesn't arrive to our never changed address!

I don't really remember the dates b/c I am filling this in half a year later!

12-24-07: We find out we are expecting a little one!

01-??-08: Fran receives his green card.

:lol: That's funny...I'm guilty, too. They just got my petition today, and I was hoping for NOA1...I didn't think that was too much to ask for... :whistle:

Mine went through Texas too. You can see my signature for a timeline to give you an idea of when that NOA1 comes. Of course sometimes checks are cashed before NOA1 arrives so we will be looking for your post tat you are "official"! (F)

...once again waiting

1 September 2009 (just over 5 months) Approved and card production ordered.

These are the feds we are talking about guys, they probably took all day Tuesday talking to each other about their 3 day weekends! At least that is what happens in my federal office where I work....

Of course I'm the IT guy so I sit in my computer room and do computery things and don't have to listen to that stuff.

No one has ever accused the US government of being spry, fast, reliable, or efficient.

03/03/06 - First met in Manila

05/23/06 - "First" visit for 1 week

07/02/06 - Second visit for 1 week

09/01/06 - Third visit for 1 week, engaged

09/22/06 - FedEx I-129F packet copy to CSC

09/25/06 - Received at CSC by N. Tan

09/27/06 - NOA 1 mailed

10/01/06 - Touched

10/04/06 - Received NOA 1

I agree Ecalos, we're due another batch of approvals.

I hope when the next batch is up I'm in it. I know it's selfish but I don't think I could stand to see another wave of August/September approvals! :(

It's not selfish at all!!!! We should have been approved long ago. It's only fair for them to spend the time on ours instead of Aug and Sept NOA1's. I'm disgusted at how they treat us and the mental pain they cause.

I would have been happy to wait only 60-90 days!!! Heck my fiance would be here by now if that had been the case.

ARGHH!!!!!!

Tonight for us Marcher's??? :help:

Gonna try again.

Its so funny seeing you guys complain after only waiting a couple of months.

It took almost 6 months to approve my petition due to the IMBRA nightmare and there is i think still some from march that are waiting .

Just hang in there and it will come to you,its hard trust me i know.

After this stage of waiting you will just be starting another stage of waiting,my petition still isnt at the nvs=c yet and its been over 1 month for that.
