We had our interview on Sep. 28, in Nakara, Turkey. We had all the papers submitted, and thought all was in order. During the interview, we were informed that all was there, but they wanted the original police report, not a photocopy. Luckily, we were able to get one there, in Ankara. We also needed my 2005 W-2's

faxed from America. From all indications, the visa was approved, but they wanted these items before they would actually release it. After a slight delay, we recieved her visa the day before our flights were scheduled. Her entrance interview was smooth, but we ended up missing our original flight from JFK to Vegas. They booked us on the next scheduled flight, 2 1/2 hours later. Now we are home together, after waiting just over 1 year.

I want to thank everyone here for all their help and support. If anyone needs help with this process, this is a wonderful site. I have given the site address to many friends who are going through the process. :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

8 April 2009 Biometric notice arrived by mail

24 April 2009 Biometrics scheduled

26 April 2009 Touched

...once again waiting

1 September 2009 (just over 5 months) Approved and card production ordered.
