Ohhh, Labour Day.

What the heck is theirs doing in May? wacko.gif

It's Labor Day here in Paraguay too, that's why my husband's interview, which was originally suppossed to be today was moved to yesterday. He was approved after a short and simple interview (albeit an hour and a half long wait beforehand).

Thanks Saylin for your words of wisdom and for helping us and so many others get through NVC quickly and with a little less stress. We're going home soon!!! :dance::dance:

Yeah, my teacher brought it [Labor Day] up in class today. Apparently only the US and Canada "celebrate" it in September while the rest of the world celebrates it in May. Who knew!

But, back to the more important part of your response: grats!! kicking.gif

Just got received an email that they received DS 3032 already. But when we're about to pay AOS in line it says that:

"You cannot make online payments for your case at this time. Please contact the NVC if you have questions or need further information."

So how's that? Does anyone of you had encountered the same thing as us?

But the same silly story about scheduling the ambassy appointment in the first two weeks of the month and thus for the month of june... :blink:

I am case #1 for my ambassy, so i would expect this to be in a the month of may, not june. :(

Anyhow, it seems we're past NVC, just need to receive the confirmation.

NVC is currently working with the isse.Hopefully tomorrow it will be fixed. :thumbs:
