You're welcome! The next, and last email, you'll get from NVC is for the interview. Keep calling them and asking if it's scheduled yet! We all know that '2nd week of the month' thing is false.

Happy Saturday to all!

So here's what's been happening: we paid the IV fee online on TUESDAY. $$ taken from account on WEDNESDAY. IV checklist emailed to hubby and I on FRIDAY. IV Fee payment status still showing as 'IN PROCESS'. Hubby called NVC last night, 15 minutes to midnight. A very nice agent (oops, forgotten his name) told hubby:

(a) ignore the checklist

(b) IV payment has been received, the system is just still 'chewing' on it (???)

© AOS reviewed and accepted

(d) We're on our way and "it's all good".

Just surprised that it's taking so long for the system to show the IV fee as PAID, even though an agent can SEE that it's been paid. At the same time, very happy and excited that the end of the NVC journey is looming larger and larger in view!

Grats on all the progress! Hopefully that IV bill appears as PAID soon.

Mornin all! So excited (in a way) - found out an interesting piece of news last night. If anyone's in my boat waiting for the IV invoice, they aren't releasing those until Friday when the fees drop by almost $200. Spoke to a supervisor last night, who told me that. (on the upside, apparently our AOS package was reviewed and accepted, just waiting on the fee still...weird...)

And now...I am off to get more snuggles :D Talk later, and have a WONDERFUL Saturday! :star:

It's only a $100 drop. Dunno where the $200 is coming from...

But grats on your AOS package being accepted! kicking.gif

[...]

LOL, yea, i said i think because it doesnt say 'accepted' and i hadnt read it a few times... after i sent in the ds3032 email, i received an auto response... yesterday i received an actual reply to my ds3032 email, saying that it was received and that all correspondence will be sent to agent... so after reading it a few times i decided that that must be the acceptance...

[...]

As long as it doesn't say anything along "rejected", then you're good to go ;)

ok so husband called lastnight and we got case complete, but do we get an official email or anything to say that it is officially completed?

Grats on the CC! kicking.gifkicking.gif Nope, no email for non-EP folk.

Don't forget to update your timeline ;)

I guess it depends on what Consulate you/your spouse are interviewing at. Some require more evidence than others. Also, how much evidence did you turn in with the I-130? I'm just bringing some more photos. We don't have a lot of evidence like chat logs and all that because we've been living together the entire relationship.

Check out the May Interviews thread for more info: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/361433-may-2012-interviews/page__pid__5279585#entry5279585
