Add me to the group. We mailed our March 26, 2012 to the Chicago Lockbox. However, they cashed our checks April 19, 2012. And we received our NOA hardcopy Friday, April 27, 2012. We are waiting for the EAD. We will see how long that takes. Also, how do I do my timeline as a signature?

06/26/2014- Did the Biometrics in downtown Nashville, TN instead of Greer, SC. (due to moving from NE TN to Nashville, TN)

12/03/2014- Case was moved from Vermont to California.

02/13/2015- Letter stating they need more proof of a bona fide relationship to be due back by May 14, 2015.

03/02/2015- Sent documentation to California.

04/13/2015- Received letter of congratulations for the removal of conditions and award of the 10 year green-card coming within 60 days.

04/17/2015- The letter and 10 year green card was received. Alhamdulillaah. Our USCIS journey is over since my husband will not apply for citizenship.

Finally got my biometrics appointment letter!!! May 15 at 12noon, in Orlando. Bummed that I have to go all the way to Orlando, when Tampa is so much closer. What is the deal with that???

Yay for the appointment! Boo for the travel-you must be excited regardless!!

What is the average time for the EAD? I see the time lines, and some are really quick while others are taking it's time. We are waiting for the biometrics information. Is it usually 2weeks or 4 weeks?

So what is the average time of receiving a letter about the biometrics?

it seems like 2-3 weeks is the time to get the biometrics appt. the appt itself seems like a month out from the date of sending. not too shabby timewise.

Does anyone else have a lawrence, MA ASC?

Has anyone tried doing a walk-in biometrics in a different ASC than that suggested by their zip code? I am in the Denver area and have been directed to go to the Aurora office (blah). The office in Centennial is a lot nicer and less busy.

If you are referring to the office just off of Arapahoe and Peoria then I don't believe they do biometrics there since that is the actual field office and not an ASC.

Besides, when I went to the Aurora ASC it was pretty much empty and even though I didn't do an early walk-in, I would be 90% sure that they would have accepted me on any given day before my appointment date.

FWIW, if all you are concerned with is an early walk-in, then there is no evidence that you get your EAD or AP any quicker-- just take a look at the Feb/Mar filers spreadsheet and you will most are averaging around 60 days regardless of if they did a walk-in or not.

Day 13: 03/09/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.

Day 24: 03/20/12: Email notification for RFE.

Day 27: 03/23/12: Hardcopy RFE received in the mail.

Day 31: 03/27/12: Biometrics completed.

Day 40: 04/05/12: Mailed off the RFE.

Day 44: 04/09/12: RFE Delivered.

Hi Everyone,

I've been lurking in this April Filers post just about everyday now :blush:. Anyway, my husband and I filed for his adjustment of status from an H2B on April 5th, and today we successfully completed his biometrics appointment in West Palm Beach, FL. However, we just received a notification that his I-485 was updated. That update unfortunately was for an RFE being sent out. I kind of figured we would get one, because I saw that I forgot to mail our tax documents :unsure:. Sooo, now we are at a standstill until we receive and respond to the RFE. Hopefully that is the only thing they are requesting evidence for, because this whole process has been stressing. I'm glad to see that everyone else's cases are moving at a steady pace & I hope everyone gets their approval fast. Wish us luck!

Adjustment of Status from H2B

03.25.12 - Medical I-693 completed.

04.05.12 - Mailed AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-131, I-765) to Chicago Lockbox.

04.06.12 - AOS package signed for by USCIS.

04.11.12 - Email/Text notification regarding acceptance confirmation received.

04.16.12 - NOAs received.

04.18.12 - Biometrics appointment received (set for May 4th).

05.04.12 - Biometrics appointment successful, BUT received notification of RFE being sent hours after appointment.

05.10.12 - RFE received.

05.19.12 - Mailed RFE response.

05.21.12 - RFE response signed and received by USCIS.

05.23.12 - Email/Text notification of RFE Response received by USCIS.

06.06.12 - Email/Text notification of AOS Interview.

06.08.12 - Interview Letter Received (set for July 9th).

06.11.12 - Email/Text notification of EAD Card Production & AP approval.

06.13.12 - Got some GREAT NEWS!

07.09.12 - AOS Interview .. Awaiting decision.

07.18.12 - RFE notification... I can't believe this *SMH*

07.20.12 - I-130 Approved.

08.15.12 - RFE Response mailed.

08.23.12 - I-485 Approved.
