Comments : We did not have to interview for the lifting of conditions. My husband had to do another fingerprinting bio-metric Letter stating they need more proof of a bona fide relationship to be due back by May 14, 2015. My husband received his new green-card which expires after 10 years on April 04, 2014 after 2 months of sending documentation.

Event Description

Embassy Review : When we first arrived the security was nice. Spoke to us. However, the others in the office were not at all nice. I assume due to their jobs they had to be somewhat sociable, but they weren't friendly. Intimidating would be the perfect word for their overall demeanor.

I was somewhat nervous. My husband appeared to be calm and collected. We were called in by a male agent. He was very stern looking. His attitude wasn't the best. He asked us questions about our families and how did we meet and do we speak to each other's families.

He spoke to my husband briefly about the Arab Spring. My husband didn't comment much about it. My husband is a private person he's known to keep his opinions and comments concerning political matters to himself except around myself or the family.

Afterwards, the male said: ' okay, this is the part where I am supposed to say: Congratulations! So, Congratulations! You will get your greencard within 30 days.'

I am so glad we will probably never meet those people ever again. The experience was nerve-wreaking. I am glad that it's over, and we will never have to experience that again.
Harassment Level : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
