Hello everyone,

My IV fee was "in process" this morning and now it is reflecting 'paid". Should the bar-coded cover sheet be available now as I do not see it? or will I have to wait until tomorrow for the same? Thanks for your help...

[/quote

I see the problem. There was a popup blocker on the payment portal page......

It should have appeared as soon as you paid it. Keep in mind, it's not called "bar-coded cover sheet", but rather "document cover sheet".

Well, stubborn me just called NVC again just now (lol) and a very kind operator named Nicki told me that my case was just recently received (the rude lady from this morning told me that it hadn't arrived yet) but that I needed to wait about another week before any numbers were available. I'll give it a few days... but i suppose them receiving the file is something!!! I'll take what I can get... :D

I'd say call every day, just to stay on top of things. That's what most members here do.

That's what I meant...lol. However, there was a pop-up blocker on that page to which I removed thus was able to print it....thanks

I have no idea how long it'd take. I know it's taking NVC 7-10 days to get to DS-3032s, so I'm thinking it'll take that long to get to your email. Then they have to forward your request to Montreal. And from there, I have no idea how long it'd take. You can call NVC, tell them you've requested an expedite, and ask if you should pay your bills and send the DS-261, or wait.

It's not just because of this long wait, is it? You've done most of it and you'll have your case # any day now!

Still no email of AOS Checklist. I was told it was sent out on Monday.

C'mon NVC! :o

If I were you I would call and ask them to resend it. I know NVC's email system is slow but 3 days?

Will be checking my PO Box in about an hour. I'm hoping my envelope made it to my box today. You know it is funny that at some other times, envelopes my wifey has sent me have always made it fairly quickly to the States, but now that I'm anxious to get a specific one it has taken the longest.

Murphy's Law?

Alright, then go ahead and pay the AOS fee once it gets invoiced.

And when you're able to log in, fill in the DS-261 (you'll need the BIN for this). Don't email the DS-3032. The online DS-261 is the same thing.

You can send the optin if you want, but if your request is approved, then you won't be sending in the documents. If you do decide to send it, make sure you send it to the right address.

And I'd call up another operator and confirm those email addresses. Make sure they were added properly.

Ask Saylin about The Secret
