Approved!! It was FAST. My appointment was at 1PM and we were out of there by 2PM.

Everything was smooth except they had difficulties taking my fingerprints.

The consular officer asked me the ONE question I didn't know the answer to: how much does your husband make? :bonk: I gave a guesstimate and it wasn't too wrong.

Besides that, some simple questions which didn't always make sense (like how's your husband's brother's girlfriend?, after I mentioned she came to our wedding... what do you mean how is she?? Who cares right now??)

I'll make a full review when I get back home tomorrow!

getting ready for our interview and i can't find any indication that says to bring copies of our past submissions, relationship evidence, prepaid envelope, tax returns or anything! All our interview letter that we received from the NVC says to bring is medical report, passport photos, if we filed an extension in lieu of a tax return--to bring the return, and anything that the NVC requested. Did you guys receive a different letter? or a letter from the country's embassy? because we are not sure what to bring. and please dont reply with that blanket statement 'bring everything'. BEcause we don't have everything. My files (including submissions are in the US) and it wont get to him in time. All he has is what was requested in his interview letter... thanks

We brought our I130 package just in case, but it was not listed as required on the Pk 4 letter, and the interviewer did not ask for it. If you did traditional processing, then the tax returns/transcripts and all other original documents were already sent to NVC and should be with your file. If you did electronic processing, then he absolutely must bring the tax returns and all the other original documents. We also brought my 2011 taxes as a precaution, but our interview was well before April 17th, and they didn't need them. You should check your regional forum and the embassy reviews to get instructions specific to your embassy.

The instructions you get with the pk 4 letter aren't always complete. For example, I don't remember our letter saying we needed to bring the DHL delivery confirmation page with us, but that was the second thing the consulate checked (after checking our interview letter) before even letting us through security. VJ was where we got that info, and others behind us in line were turned away for not knowing that they needed it.

I read it on here to take the platinium post pack and then i think I saw it on the consular specific website. I took everything with me just on advice from here and I took extra evidence. I took proof of medical insurance (because i'm pregnant and my daughter has cystic fibrosis) and I took Josh's tax from this 2011. They didn't ask for a single thing. It was super busy when we got there and only one other person was approved, everybody else was told they needed more stuff so following directions on here paid off big time for us!! We weren't even asked any questions. She asked my kids if they had been to America and they said no. Then she sat them down and talked about my pregnancy but in a girlie kind of way not interview way eg." I have a huge gap between my kids too, they are a big help, are you finding out the sex, are the kids excited or embarrassed that there is now proof mum still does the deed lol". I took extra pictures too but they didn't ask for them, better to have them though i think.

I was so stressed and it turned out to be no big deal at all so relax, check with everything on here and you will fine xxxx
