Pre-employment drug testing?

I need to take a drug test for a job I've been offered. I do take some prescription medicine that may show up on the test. I've been told that as long as I have a prescription I'm fine, and I do. I just freak out easily. I'm moving to a whole new city for this. :/

The test is at a freestanding testing facility, not the employer.

Help me stop freaking out? Maybe?

Before my test i was told to bring all prescription medication that i was on to the testing so they could make note of it on the testing etc.

test was simple and quick in and out in about 10 mins and was really nothing. pee in a cup! don't flush the toilet. all done.

don't freak out unless they want a hair sample.

Then it will take a lot more than flushing out your system to hide the "prescription" ;) ;) ;) drugs.

I know somebody that got turned down for a job, and suspended by the union for 90 days, all because he took one of his wife's painkillers a couple days before the piss test. Make sure those prescription drugs have your name on the bottle.

It went fine, I didn't even get a phone call, which really surprised me! I worried for nothing.
