Hi everyone!!

We're waiting for our NOA2 and has just passed the 5 months mark since NOA1. I know this is quit normal and that many people are/ have been in this situation. However, according to the immigration timeline here at VJ petitions with a NOA1 of september 6 are being processes (ours was aug 10), so it sounds like our petition has gotten somewhat delayed.

So considering that, one starts to wonder if anything has happened to our application. The rest of you guys that have found yourself to still be waiting for the NOA 2 after most people have received theirs, what have you done? I read something about calling a congressman or filing for a service request, when is it possible to do this?

Maybe we just have to relax and wait a few more weeks:).

Call USCIS and ask what petitions are they currently adjuncating or working on.

When they say June 29th then you know you cannot fill a servce request and do not contact your congressman yet

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

PLEASE EDIT YOUR TIMELINE IN YOUR PROFILE SO OTHERS CAN LEARN HOW LONG EACH STEP TAKES IN THIS PROCESS

Hello, I can certainly understand your desire to receive your NOA2. We are trudging the same visa path, we are just behind you a bit on that path. The VJ timeline estimates are just that...estimates. You have already stated your possible courses of action. Of course, you can always do either of your first two courses of action. Might I suggest that you consider following the last course of action.....relax and wait a few more weeks. Soon you will get your notification and will move along to the next step in this arduous bureaucratic process.

Good luck!

Hej OlofAllie

My fiance and I got our NOA1 on June 23, 2011. I am like you anxious to see my fiance and checking the visa status all the time to se if there is any response. We called the California Service Center three weeks ago and they told us to give it another month and then call again. They said that they were currently working on/approving the cases with NOA1 on June 16.

Greetings from day 151,

I'm not entirely sure how many days it has been but 5 months was yesterday so i called today. I spoke to a very nice lady named Trina who

without any trouble at all processed my request for case review based on the fact that it was officially overdue. I was hoping for some actual

info but know I will at least know something in 15 days or less (thats how long she said to give them) I can at least relax for a few days.

I was looking at the page of filers who were in august and all the filers within 7-8 days of us have been approved.. I feel for all those who

have gone longer, I know we are both already going nuts after our 5 months, I can't imagine how it will be in 3 more if we still have nothing.

Of course, I can always take a nother trip :o)

As someone with an Aug 12 NOA1 from VSC without any updates (and no ability to check on the site) I certainly sympathize. I'm probably going to give another call to USCIS myself (hey, it's been a few weeks, and we're now 1.5 weeks past 5 months). Best of luck to all of us stuck waiting on NOA2's while September and later filers are mysteriously being processed.

Thanks and Enjoy,

Erik

Still no response.... 190+ Days. I don't know what to tell my fiancee anymore, this wait its been very challenging, all I do is pray for now. God is my only support for strength and hope. I do love her, and that is the only thing that keeps us going. So disappointed about the bureaucracy, the red tape and the inefficiency of our system....

Hi Everyone!!!

I am so sad too like anyone of you. We got our NOA1 July 2011 and got an RFE Nov 18, 2011 sent our reply Dec 14, 2011 they said we have about 60 days waiting in response to our RFE.

And February 14 (VAlentines Day!) we hope and pray that we can have our most AWAITED gift from USCIS!

Good luck to all of us. God bless
