Baron555, I applied for a Russian Visa and there were plenty if detailed questions. Many were to see if I was going to recruit Russian brides! I can understand Russia's attitude on the Visa application if they think their women are all going to America as mail order brides.

I don't understand....I paid a full $99 to select her from the online catalog....what the harm there? !!!

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

Yes, I do know of people who refiled and eventually got through it. My finance and I have made a committment that we will never, ever give up. We have a strong relationship in which we talk twice a day. We could over come this kind of road block if they said we did not have enough evidence of a relationship. I have over 2,000 pages of skype chat log alone for six months plus lots more. If you are really strong, then you can over come it but it is a slightly uphill battle now.

He said the person that interview him seemed more interested on me not being able to support him, I got co-sponsor. I don't know, they also said about relationship us being together for 3 years how has he been able to hold on for that long his answer was caused he loved me. He has never been to the states, but in this time I've been there 3 times. He said the lady was a bit nasty :(

london doesnt normally ask for proof of ongoing relationship so something has raised a huge red flag... maybe the fact that he has never visited the country he wants to move to.

when was the last time you visited him??

what questions where asked and where they answered correctly??

did you provide all the supporting documents for the co-sponsor... wage slips?? letter from employer... etc??

what exactly does the 221g ask for??

There is no such thing as too much evidence. You want them to be happy with what you have provided, and no one knows just where that point is. bring it all, because "just enough" may turn out to be "not enough."

I think this is good advice. I am going to bring two sets. An executive summary and a suitcase full of chat logs and emails. It will be at least 2500 sheets of paper. Sorry for anyone elses troubles but I am covering our butt now.

He did but took more evidence but they didn't bother to look at them. Handed him the slip that it was refused, but it can be overcome by submitting evidence and said additional proof of relationship. And that it would require additional processing

maybe the fact that he has never visited the country he wants to move to.

I wonder if this is the reason... When my husband was at his K-1 interview, (back then he was my fiance, of course) he told them we met in the U.S., but he was also asked if I had been to Finland to visit him. (The answer was yes) They seem to want to know if both people have visited each others countries, maybe that is important to some embassies? Not sure, but I guess it could be possible.

I'm sorry about all this. :( I hope you find the exact reason your fiance was denied so you can work on fixing the problem.

Thanks on info I will ask him on exact details and go from there

I think you can request an appeal and then pull everything you possibly have together.

Now, I am getting really nervous! I hope, this has nothing to do with it!!! My fiancee hasn't been to my country!
