My sister recently worked with a girl named Telekinesis...and she'd say her name so fast that you'd have to ask her over and over until you realized what it was. It was also around the time X-men 3(oops not 2) was in the theaters. Ironic, eh.

I can't remember anyone I've personally known with too strange of a name...hmm...*thinking*

Ok well this one isn't strange but it did cause a lot of jokes---someone in highschool we knew named Benjamin Franklin.

Oh one more I thought of...one of my good friend's maiden last name was Cuce (Italian) but was pronounced coochie so she never liked saying it and of course she constantly got jokes about it in school.

My current boss is named 'Brenda Starr". A former colleague named her son chaeleadgh (pronounced kay-lee). - a take off on the Gaelic word for a party. I've always felt sorry for the boy - it was before different names were common and I know he had a hard time. My favourite accidental name is Phil Meighan - he was a newscaster on a radio station where I grew up - and that was his real name.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

I'm trying to think here:

There were 2 girls I have worked with, one in Kansas, one here in Tucson.

Fawni - her mother and my mother were good friends! :o

Side note, my best friend in high school had a crush on Fawni, his name was Michael Paul.

And Fawn

Ah yes, local radio station did a thing where the new "sidekick" had to CHANGE their name so there is now, officially an Obi-Won Kenobi In Tucson Arizona! (Go get em Lucas! )
