Received my EAD/AP card today.

Card production ordered!!

CONGRATS!

Biometrics was really easy, took long to find a place to park than inside the building! But very nice and friendly officers there, my husband and I arrived there a couple hours before my actual appointment, no problem at all. Within 15 minutes we were done and going home.

Loved Pittsburgh and got to eat brazilian food!!! I missed it so bad, specially guarana :( Yesterday I received an update that they are processing my I-485, hopefully won't take too long, what I am really hoping to get soon is the Work Permit. Can't wait to be able to work, drive, etc.

Happy for the ones who are almost done with this process! Good luck everybody!

Hello,

I filed my AOS and received an email notifications as well as NOA1 of AOS, EAD, AP and on hand biometrics appointment. Just wondering besides these notices, I haven't got an email says "my case is transferred to CSC", thing like that. Is this normal or a case-to-case basis? hmmmmmm..... Hope things will be ok...

Not every case gets sent to CSC. It will either get sent there or get sent to your local office for an interview.

Yeah... Requirements should be getting ready then, just in case!

woohoo! yeah! our honeymoon present, apparently. We're totally excited!! I just wanted DH to have the peace of mind to know if he really needed to get back home that he could. I can't imagine being told if I left the UK I wouldn't be able to see him until a new visa came in! I'd feel so...trapped. So the AP really is for psychological gain more than anything else.

Plus he can surprise me with a cruise if he wanted to lol!!!

Biometrics finished. Very uneventful, I was in and out in about 15 minutes.

Just a tip: If your appointment and application are in your married name, and your ID is in your maiden name, bring your marriage certificate. I brought mine, and if I hadn't, they said they'd have to turn me away because the names didn't match.

I forgot our marriage certificate, but they looked up ours in the system and let us continue with the biometrics. We offered to show her my wife's Ohio drivers license with her married name, but they said they wouldn't accept it. Luckily they saw our marriage certificate in their system. Whew! :innocent:

Ukraine babes rule!

Make sure you update your timeline!
