Can I ask where your biometrics letter came from? Was it your local office?

Biometrics finished. Very uneventful, I was in and out in about 15 minutes.

Just a tip: If your appointment and application are in your married name, and your ID is in your maiden name, bring your marriage certificate. I brought mine, and if I hadn't, they said they'd have to turn me away because the names didn't match.

Ok January 2012 filers...Will someone please tell me from where does the biometrics appointment letter come? From your local or a national office? Or...?

It came from a national office, not a local one. I can't remember which one, though. :( Sorry!

Thanks! It told you where and when to go right?

I'm confused why we haven't gotten anything yet. Maybe because it was just transfered to CSC? Got another text/email last night that it (I-485) has been received at CSC and is now in process. Keep on waiting I guess.

Thanks again for the response!

Yes, it gave us the time, date and location of the appointment. Hopefully you hear something soon!

It came from Homeland Security telling us where, when, how etc... and our local office is Pittsburgh, PA. They send you all the details in that letter, very simple.
