Hello

I am getting ready to print my proof and other files.

Do I make copy of airline tickets, receipts and other tickets (Movie theater, orchestra...etc) both sides?

Can I print on double side of the papers to reduce size? Or it is better to print on one side? I have about 50 pages of snapshot messages from online dating site where we keep communicating beside of the phone talk.

Maybe copy both sides with the airline tickets, but the others are a little overboard. printed out chat logs and emails should be fine. also include evidence from before the f-129 was sent in, pictures together whatever you can find. you cant have to much and it is best that you go into your interview prepared to show them anything they ask for.

I would stick to single-sided to keep it nice and simple. For chat logs, my fiance and I avidly used Facebook messaging, so I just printed two to three pages from four random sections (12 pages total). I tried to pick sections that were talking about our future life together and others about random daily life.

I agree there's never too much, but I don't think you'll need all 50 pages :P Bring some to the interview.

Best of luck!

Edit: Assuming this is for the initial packet. If you mean for the interview, I say have at it and bring everything, lol.

Is this proof for the I-129F?

Or Proof for the interview?

In the I-129F you don't need to include any chatlogs. I didn't. No RFEs.

If it's for the interview, most people on the site have recommended a simple two-three pages of each type (email, chat, phonelog, etc.) It would actually depend on your consulate. Some will review the evidence, others are known to not look at all.

Please give us more info.

Is this proof for the I-129F?

Some will review the evidence, others are known to not look at all.

Check with other members that have been successfull in that particular country when deciding how much or how little to include.

Its not a one size fits all when it comes to evidence.

Here is more information:

I am assembling I-129F.

1) I am including 19 photos on back of each photo I will put label (My name and Fiance name, Location, Date)

2) Will make copies of:

a) Airline Tickets (2 pages)

b) Tickets of movie theater, theater, opera and other places where we went together. (additional proof that will link to photos) (5 pages)

c) Some receipts from shopping around (1 page)

d) Receipt of necklace that I bought for her (I was not sure if I would propose her after I meet her in person) (1 page)

e) Calling Card Log (First time I call her and Latest one) (2 pages)

d) First page of a dating site showing how many messages we have and few pages of random chat (It is in Russian language)(6 pages)

I am trying to put enough proof for I-129F I am trying not to overload those guys with paper as I believe it might slow down process.

Note: I feel silly for not putting all details on a first post.

Hei there and welcome to VJ,

Some have advised you to look though your portal, especially to see what kind of evidence is needed now, and if it's suggested to front load the petition. If it's not suggested and it'll make the primary evidence "drown" in things like calling card log and the chat logs, even the necklace, then listen to the advise given from people going through your embassy.

Sometimes it helps to look through the embassy/interview reviews as it may give you a better idea of how prepared you need to be, now and later on.

Airline tickets; include your passport stamps as well. 3rd party sources(authorities) are less likely to be questioned. Passport stamps over airline tickets e.g. but altogether good.

I'd only print on one side. USCIS has their own way of organizing the petition after it's received, and even if it's acceptable you better make sure that the adjucator isn't going to miss out on important information that way.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days
