THe Romney-Christie Ticket I think would be more than Obama could survive.

Romney the well respected Business guy and Christie, one of the best communicators of our age could undo what I have long speculated about -Obama a 2 term President.

Agree or disagree?

Any other Dream tickets in mind?

For Disciples of Ron Paul :P ... what is your dream ticket with him?

Disagree.

Christie is looking to 2016 and, strangely for a politician, wants to finish what he's started in New Jersey. Why settle for VP, when he would likely wipe the floor with everyone else vying for the GOP nomination?

Don't interrupt me when I'm talking to myself

We heard the same thing about Thompson and then Perry.

That sounds like a nightmare ticket...

About Ron Paul..I'd happily pick Judge Andrew Napolitano as a VP

Thats not a bad VP name... han't thought about him.

Getting nervous about your options come November, Danno?

I got nervous at Perry's first debate.

Dream on, Danno. If Romney is the nominee, Christie will not join his ticket. Nor will Romney ask him to join it. He'd need southern representation. Mix in a bit of Latin heritage and viola - here's your VP candidate: Marco Rubio. There's almost no way around that guy for Mitt.

How many times must I tell you, just because I throw a topic up does not mean I agree or endorse it... it's simply a topic.

I already posted I wouldn't vote for Romney, the VP choice means little in the way of policy of the president.

Are you serious? or just quoting a published pundit?

Regardless - The Christian Coalition built up by Mr. Bush would get re-ignited, make sure that NEITHER of them got the Republican nomination for ANYTHING at the National Party Nomination Meeting. There's just too many fundamentalist Christians out there, with money, that'll have a seat at the National Meeting, voting.

They've been waiting for a chance to 'get back' at Mr. Bush for his failings with stratifying the Faith Based Initiatives that he promised for his re-election campaign - they'll take control over the RNP and make sure a Mormon and a Confused Woman not get the nod.

FWIW, the Christian Coalition is some scary m-f'ers - Follow the money when George was running for re-election, you'll see who they are. They scare the p|ss out of me, you betcha.

I think all the serious conservative candidates are sitting out until 2016. Despite the president's record, running against an incumbent president is a daunting task.

We heard the same thing about Thompson and then Perry.

Have you seen Thompson's wife? Seriously, I'd run for president for that! I think she wanted it a lot more than him anyways. He never really had a chance anyways.

Thats not a bad VP name... han't thought about him.

If not for his staunch anti-abortion standpoint, I would agree with you.

I got nervous at Perry's first debate.

I think we all did. When he first entered the race, he had all the enthusiasm and fanfare of the right behind him. If not for his eloquent meltdown in various debates, he really could have gone far. Scary that people in this country would be willing to vote for a high functioning retarded kid again for president.
