How about "because they could" You can't. The only place you can currently live legally is Canada. How many would choose the USA over Canada IF they had to live here as illegals? Are you serious

Canada will not allow anyone in that has felony convictions OR a drunk driving charge, and they no-sh*t mean it!

I went up there with a friend and one of his friends. His friend had a DUI 7 years ago and they flat out said "you two can go in but HE stays out!" Simple as that. We had to take him back to my house to cool his heels while we took care of our business in Montreal. Fortunately I lived about 10 minutes from there at the time.

If memory serves me right Canada started that ####### about 20 years ago. At first they charged extra for any driving infractions with DWI's costing $1,000 USD. They had a price for everything. Then they disallowed DWI's all together. It p*ssed off a lot of people up here for the fact most of us have to fly or take a ferry from Haines, AK in order to get down to the lower 48...even though it was Americans who built the Alcan Highway that runs from BC to Alaska. We did that back in WW2 when the Japs invaded Alaska. It gets even better though. Canadians businesses along the Alcan had three prices for people driving to Alaska. One for peeps with Canadian plates...they got charged the least, then another for peeps with US plates, and a third and highest price for peeps with Alaskan plates. This had something to do with Alaskan fisherman shooting off the mast heads of Canadian fishing boats raiding our waters back in the 70's and 80's. Now that BC did away with commercial fishing we don't have that problem. But then they took up fish farming with those scurvy sick looking Atlantic Salmon and when we warned them they would screw up the eco system they told us to p*ss off. A few years into the program those fish broke out of their holding pens and now we have them in Alaskan rivers totally screwing up our eco sytem by munching on the Pacific Salmon fry.

I can remember when I was a kid in Washington state back when the Canadians living near the border would drive to the US towns and load up on gas and smokes thus driving up the prices for Americans living on or near the Canuck border. But Canada doesn't seem to have a problem with terrorist crossing into the US from Canada to blow us up to smithereens, they just have a problem with Americans that have driving infractions. :wacko:

Agreed. The US should build a wall on the border of Canada to keep out the terrorist.

Which will flood first? I think Canada relies a lot on a successful US economy.

So does the entire world. The US has a bad year, people in Thailand and China go hungry because Americans are not consuming what they make.

Im sure Canada is hiding illegals too.

Canada has a ####### load of Chinese illegals. A lot of them used to sneak across the border into the US and down to Frisco.
