That's some very good info. Thanks! I am lucky because I live with my fiance in Cancun so at least we are not apart. We just recently;y found out that I am pregnant and I would really like to have the baby back home in MN but I dont want to have to go without my fiance. Hopefully we will have the visa by May. I sent my I-129F on September 14th so I guess I have awhile. I thought the CSC was known for fast approvals so I was really excited when it got sent there, especially cause my sisters now husband got approved so quickly. I guess we just have to keep our fingers crossed!!! Good luck to you!!!

CSC is slow to none! lol

It is true that their Processing date is June 16th (even though the website says 5 months). People on the boards who have called have confirmed this.

In terms of VJ members receiving their NOA2...some straggling June petitioners are receiving them and they seem to be on about mid July. I think a few August got accepted. Maybe one or 2..or that may be VSC (all the info is jumbled in my head). I'm watching pretty closely, as I sent my petition the end of July and received my NOA2 early August. I'm "right around the corner"....which in my head means "January." (I don't have much faith that we'll get our NOA2 in the 5 month time frame. The average is looking 5 1/2 right now, so I've mentally prepared for that. Although...my fiance and I tend to be the type who mentally prepare for the worse. lolol)

Expect slowing down on top of the slowing down with the holiday season. *sighs*

But what can we do. Just be patient, try to smile. And just know that the waiting will be over not so long from now.

I was scoping out the boards casually before I sent mine in. It seems that VSC and CSC switch every now and then for which one has a higher turn around. Last year CSC was working faster all the way through about May of this year. Then, VSC turned around and was working faster. Seems like this trend happens every year/year and half where it switches. Who knows why. lol

By the way, congratulations! If you happen to hit the 5 month waiting period, I would definitely get in contact with your local congressman so they can help the process along, especially if it closely approaches your due date. good luck :)

Yep. When we were on the K-1 route earlier this year people were cruising thru CSC (including us at 4 months, not bad - but others were to NVC in less than a month) while practically EVERYONE at VSC was pushing 6-7 months. Definitely frustrating when people with similar timelines are getting their interview dates before others even get NOA2.

Back then it was (at least in part) due to the huge number of Haitians applying for Temporary Protected Status after the earthquake - all of which went thru VSC (IIRC) - but now, I'm not sure what the deal is. Hang in there.

Hi everyone! Does anyone know what month petitions the CSC is working on right now?? If that sentence makes any sense haha. A couple months ago I know they were only on May petitions. Thanks in advance!

As of November 16th they were on late June. I got my NOA2. I filed June 28th.

My fiance called yesterday and the nice guy said they're working on cases from 17th June......

Great *with sarcastic voice* - more than a week ago (Nov, 30) they told us that they work with 16th June. After a week they processing date moved a day ahead - such a resultative work! I would be fired immediately if my boss would see that I'm doing one-day-work during whole week. But it seems, in USCIS nobody cares how do you work...
