S&J, I found that using priority-mail-delivery-confirmation is usually good for these. You can track when it was delivered, and this is much cheaper than getting signature or certification.

I too have sent post by certified, registered and priority with receipt acknowledgement from USPS - and more than once the recipient has received the item at least a day before the tracking information updates. One time it was 3 days after the item was received before they acknowledged it had been delivered. I have never had anything get lost or misplaced or not delivered, so hang in there; I am sure you will hear soon.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

In all other circumstances, I would have done that, but because the RFE came with it's own return envelope with barcode, I was thinking that putting the envelope inside an express envelope would have slowed it down, once it got to CSC. I think I think too much...

Don't worry.. it'll get there!!

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

God's punishing my liberal ways. :P (disclaimer: reference to my OT rants)

uh-oh..then I am in trouble too! :help:

PS maybe your feeling for a Thursday approval is confused with a Thursday acknowledgement of the RFE or it's next Thursday you are feeling. anyway. Good luck on hearing something soon. (F)

If you repent now, you might be able to shave off a few weeks from your NOA2. :P

Attempting to repent now....I love George W.... no I can't. I CAN'T...not even to speed up the visa process. :bonk:

If He is punishing you for your liberal views then He punished me more for my conservitive views. (177 days) Maybe God only likes moderates?

Aren't you all assuming that God has some interaction with CSC? Perhaps she/he's given up on the place. I strongly suspect it's under the control of other forces.:devil:

And I understand that their very best delay experts then get promoted/transferred/deported to China, where it can easily take 6-7 months from NOA2 to interview. :ranting::ranting:

Tom

Thank for for updating your timeline. (My Assistant, then edit/add my timeline.)

 Perhaps, Gary. Shall we both move to the center? :P

Update: I just logged onto usps.com and the envelope was delivered at 11:45am, Sept. 26th ... thank you God ...and sorry for being liberal. :P

My next worry - somebody mentioned in another thread that for the second question regarding criminal history, that even though there's no space, they put N/A. I just left it blank. All this worrying is burning a crater in my stomach... :(
